"Lemons in my Bra" (this poem is copyrighted by MM private publishing) I layed my head on a dream that day, And carried the night like a pillow, Waiting for you to show up, To start the chase, Around my body, Past the sky, And through the meadow. Feeling happy deep down inside, But unsettled on my finger tips, I wore lemons in my bra, Peaches in my heart, And honey on my lips. There must be something here, Every ocean has lost its tide, So hand me heaven after day break, Then hand me yourself and I'll be fine. Like a four day razzle dazzle, You know me so well, You haven't touched me with your eyes, But I love your words though, And I love the way you smell. A rainbow with all the right colors, Lovely silver...Green and teal, A deep breath now, I'm finding the courage, To chase you through a nice warm field. 4:59 and love lights the spark, Wearing lemons in my bra, Honey on my lips, And peaches in my heart. Feeling happy deep down inside, You on my finger tips, On my skin, I feel so alive. This is my universe, I'm attentive... I hear you call, I sit here waiting... For you, For me, With lemons in my bra. ~Written by Michael ManSon~ |
